As many of you know, Nancy Batchelor, has been a legendary icon in the South Florida real estate market for decades. From her philanthropic endeavors, to being a vital resource helping to continuously build the South Florida community, to her record breaking success in real estate, she is nothing short of being a phenomenal woman!
For well over 20 years, Nancy Batchelor has been one of the most dominant and successful REALTORS in South Florida, originally starting in her hometown state of Wisconsin. After moving to Miami Beach in the ‘80s, Nancy founded Florida Yacht Charters and Sales which had offices in Miami, Key West and the Bahamas. When you have a high net-worth clientele purchasing yachts and living on waterfront properties, you quickly realize the synergy between the real estate industry and the yachting industry, so Nancy decided to acquire her real estate license in Miami. While being heavily integrated in an affluent network, Nancy was able to capitalize on this and built a luxury brand for herself. She was also able to take this luxury brand to Aspen, Colorado, where she lived for a couple of years as well as New York.
Nancy’s extensive knowledge and experience in real estate can be attributed to her family; with her mother being an architect, and a real estate attorney and developer father. They also owned a real estate company in Wisconsin. She has always had a deep love and fondness for real estate and design. I guess you can say, it’s naturally ingrained in her DNA.
After spending several years at EWM International Realty, where she initially started her real estate journey in Miami, she made the move to Compass, the tech driven brokerage. “Compass is agent focused. They are very in tuned to what the agents need and value their feedback. Their goal is how to make the client expe- rience better.” Although making the deci- sion may not have been easy, as she credits much of her success to the experience she gained at EWM as well as their remark- able team, ultimately Compass was the right fit for her and The Batchelor Team, where they continue to strive to be the best resources for their clients and making record breaking sales. As their motto says, “ We Listen. We Care. We Sell.”
Now when it comes to her philanthropic efforts, Nancy, her husband and The Batchelor Foundation, go above and beyond to pour into the community. Nancy says, “I’ve always felt a deep desire and need to give back. I want to help those things and people that don’t have a voice and need championing, such as children and animals. There is so much that can be done and so much that still needs to be done.” Her awards and accolades from multiple non-profit organizations and societies has shed some light on who Nancy Batchelor really is, and the importance she places on matters of her heart. Her generosity is unparalleled and her commitment to uplifting the South Florida community and those in need is undeniable!
When Nancy isn’t busy giving back to the world and focused on being a mogul in the real estate industry, you might be able to catch her boating or riding her horses. With a Midwestern upbringing, her genuine love for horses has been prevalent since she was a young girl.
