“Real estate is everything I love,” says Nancy Batchelor. “Design, architecture, people, family, dogs, etcetera. It doesn’t feel like work because I love to do it—and I love Miami and the South Florida lifestyle.” As head of the #1 Team in Compass’s Miami Beach office, Batchelor has been in the real estate game for over 23 years with many record-breaking sales and transactions over $30 million under her belt. “I run my team like a business. We have sales goals, a marketing plan and a system that allows us to do volume without losing the V.I.P. experience for our clients.”
Her growing team of agents continue to build niche expertise with their own client base and they can service clients who speak Spanish, German, Italian and Russian. Batchelor also works with a strong support staff, including a transaction coordinator, client experience and marketing department. Her little black book of tried and true tradespeople, from top attorneys to appraisers, designers and architects is a true asset to her clients both before and after a sale.
When it comes to navigating today’s market, Batchelor says, “We’re still seeing very limited inventory for renovated single-family homes and condominiums priced fairly and in good locations. Those are the homes that sell. We are not in 2021 and people should price their homes more realistically.”
Through the Batchelor Foundation, she supports over 300 local nonprofits, while also serving on the boards of the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, the Adrienne Arsht Foundation and Give Back For Special Equestrians, a therapeutic riding program nonprofit dear to her heart.
