Community Involvement

Nancy has engaged herself in the Miami community. She is currently on the gifting committee of the Batchelor Foundation, a Trustee of Jackson Memorial Hospital Foundation, past Board Member of The Cushman School, on the Executive Committee of Junior Cotillion of Miami, on the President's Council of Easter Seals Miami-Dade, Co-Chair of Hearing and Speech Center, Committee Chair of American Cancer Society's Cattle Barrons Ball, 2006 Queen of Hearts for Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, Board Member of Fairchild Botanical Garden and founding member of La Gorce Country Club.

She also serves on the Leadership Council of University of Miami and the 2009 Destin Fashion- One of the Women of Style and Substance which is benefiting Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UM.

Runway Goes to the Dogs for Pawpurrazzi

Hosted by the Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet, South Motors and Saks Fifth Avenue, Dadeland

Miami’s top dogs strutted the catwalk in support of the Humane Society of Greater Miami Adopt-A-Pet for the second year at Jungle Island. An all-star lineup of pet-loving philanthropists were present, including Chairpersons Pat and Milton Wallace, “Top Dogs and Best in Show” Pamela Garrison and R. Kirk Landon; “Humane-itarians and Best of Breed” Bunny Bastian, Anna May and Eugene Conese, Marisa Cisneros-Rizzon and her husband Marcos Rizzon, and Nancy, Jon, and Sandy Batchelor.

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE DADELAND HONORS NANCY BATCHELOR, MIAMI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AUXILIARY 2006 QUEEN OF HEARTS

Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland honors Nancy Batchelor, Miami Children's Hospital Auxiliary 2006 Queen of Hearts, with a special luncheon and trend presentation featuring Want it!, a brilliantly edited list of fall's most promising, must-have looks and fashion-forward trends.

Nancy Batchelor, a well-known realtor, is extremely involved in the community with numerous charitable institutions. She will be honored for her outstanding support to children's charities and commitment to our community.


The Batchelor Foundation hosted the Fifth Annual Gala Dinner Theatre benefiting the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida at the Country Club of Coral Gables.	Mercedes-Benz second annual 'Ace for a Cure" fashion extravaganza to benefit The Buoniconti Fund.


Cartier showcases its new collection.	The 7th annual Hugs and Kisses Childrens Fashion Show, which raises money to benefit the Miami Childrens Hospital Foundation.


Nancys husband Jon was honored as one of the 12 Good Florida Men at their 13th annual luncheon.	The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosted its largest fundraiser, Gala in the Garden. This fundraiser supports tropical plant research, education and conservation.


Jackson Memorial Foundation Gala, benefiting the Holts Childrens Hospital, International Kids Fund, Jackson Memorial Hospitals Transformation, Schiff Liver Institute, Taylor Breast Health Center and other projects.	Saint Thomas Episcopal Parish School held its 2006 New England Clambake, raising money for current programs and expansion of the School.


Community Partnership for the Homeless Fourth Annual Benefit Love Changes Everything	The Young Patronesses of the Opera Gala at J.W. Marriott Hotel, helping promote opera education in the community.
